These terms apply to every Char Dham tour package quoted, booked or operated by onlinetourpackage.com. Please read them before paying any advance — payment is taken as acceptance of these terms.

1. Quotations and prices

• We do not publish fixed prices. Every tour is quoted individually on request, per person on twin sharing unless your quotation states otherwise.
• Your final price depends on your travel dates, group size, hotel category, vehicle type and room configuration, and is confirmed in writing before you pay.
• A quotation is valid for 7 days unless stated otherwise. Rates may change if government taxes, fuel prices or hotel tariffs change before your booking is confirmed.
• Pony, palki and porter charges on the Kedarnath and Yamunotri walks are set locally, change through the season, and are payable directly unless your confirmation says otherwise.

2. Booking and payment

• A booking is confirmed only when we have received the agreed advance and issued a written confirmation with your itinerary and hotel list.
• The balance is normally payable before the tour begins, on the schedule stated in your confirmation.
• Bookings on temple opening and closing dates, and other declared peak periods, may require full payment earlier because hotel rooms on those dates are pre-purchased.

3. What is and is not included

Your confirmation lists inclusions and exclusions in full. Unless it says otherwise, the following are not included: airfare and train fare to and from the start city, lunches, personal expenses, tips, pony/palki/porter charges at Kedarnath and Yamunotri, temple donations and special pooja charges, travel insurance, and any cost arising from a delay outside our control.

4. Documents and Uttarakhand registration

Uttarakhand requires every Char Dham traveller to be registered, and vehicles to carry a valid Green Card. We complete this on your behalf, but you must give us accurate names, ages and government ID details in time. We cannot be held responsible if darshan is refused because information you supplied was wrong or incomplete.

5. Itinerary changes, weather and roads

• The Char Dham route runs through high Himalayan terrain. Landslides, snow, heavy rain, road closures, government orders and crowd-control measures can all force a change of plan.
• We may alter the sequence of Dhams, the halting places, or the hotels used, in order to keep the tour safe and running. Where a change increases cost, the difference is payable by you; where it reduces cost, the saving is passed back.
• We are not liable for missed darshan, missed onward flights or trains, or additional accommodation costs arising from such disruptions.

6. Health and fitness

Kedarnath involves a 16 km trek, on foot or by pony, palki or porter, and several halts on the circuit are above 3,000 m. You confirm that every traveller in your group is fit to undertake the journey and has disclosed any medical condition that could be affected by altitude or exertion. Travel insurance is strongly recommended and is your responsibility.

7. Conduct

Temple dress codes, photography restrictions and local rules must be respected. We may end a traveller's participation, without refund, where behaviour endangers others, disrupts the group or breaks the law. Alcohol and non-vegetarian food are not permitted at several halts on the route.

8. Liability

We act as a tour operator arranging services provided by hotels, transport operators and guides. We select these suppliers with care, but our liability is limited to the value of the services you booked with us. We are not liable for loss, injury, delay or damage caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

9. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations are governed by our Cancellation Policy, and refunds by our Refund Policy. Both form part of these terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh.
